Many Indigenous scholars and students of color lack access to mentors who reflect their identities and experiences in academia. In response, this platform is being opened intentionally on social media (Instagram) to meet that need. Questions will be answered directly, guidance will be shared transparently, and practical support will be provided in ways that are clear and accessible.

The Doctora Nature Series offers an unfiltered Indigenous scientist’s perspective that is evidence grounded, community rooted, and actionable. The series addresses real questions about navigating school, research, and academia and translates lived experience into tools students can use immediately.

This series is created for learners and emerging scholars seeking direction, accountability, and clarity. It provides straight answers, specific strategies, and resources that honor Indigenous knowledge while removing barriers. It is available on Instagram, where followers can submit questions and access new posts. Students are encouraged to submit questions, share the series, and invite peers who would benefit from this support.
